When?

Crazed thoughts run amok,
In crazed notions you are stuck.
Walk through the corridor
Of your soul to remember.
Watch the crazy clowns,

As they bounce about town.

Watch the children laugh
At the Zoo’s giraffe.
Where did the happiness go?
How did we lose what we
Thought we knew?

When did you replace
Humor and fun;
With attitudes so rotten?
When did you stop listening,

To your own hearts beating?

I lay on the couch and try
Not to cough, as I hold
....................................Our Son.

You lay in our bed,
Sleep has won. Your
Worries are
....................................None.

Hot tears run down
My face. Their trails
....................................Burn.

I lay here upset,
The anger seethes, it
....................................Rages.

You lay there oblivious,
To any of my changes.
....................................Asshole.

You have no worries,
I take care of it all, I
....................................Never falter.

Even when I fall down,
And crash into our wall
....................................I am stronger.
