A friend in CA sent this to me. I love it!
A retired veteran took a job as a Wal-Mart greeter but was having trouble getting to work on time. His boss called him on the carpet and asked, "What did the people at your last job say to you when you came in late?" To which the vet replied, "They said, 'Good morning, Colonel. Would you like some coffee?' "
