What are the three "nevers" in your life?

Never lie.
Never threaten my loved ones.
Never lay down your sword. (so to speak )

Our thinking is enough alike for you to be my daughter, Greenie. One threatens those I love at their own peril. My "sword" is ever handy. The lie part, though...life has shown me that there are times when you cannot strictly stick with that one. If nothing else, a lie is sometimes necessary if you wish to avoid hurting someone you care about. The "little white lie" variety. Beyond that, however, I totally agree. If someone doesn't like the truth, then it is time to change what makes the truth objectionable. I would add this never: Never judge another until you have walked in their path long enough to understand.

I'm a terrible liar, I admit this, while I should use caution in admitting something of the sort. What is caution? While I understand that there is reasoning for "little white lies", I can't help but think that some of those lies could hurt the person in the end anyway. Sometimes it can be on how you approach the subject, but if you're like me and you go in patterns of "Ready. Fire. Aim."...white lies are the best where needed. I'm glad we are on the same lines, and I appreciate you added never; I understand that one; it takes a measure of compassion and charity, heart and soul really to not jump to conclusions and fall into ignorance.

NEVER get involved with a man who isn't single

Never get involved with someone who isn't able to return those feelings
Never lie to your friends!!!!!
Never think that you aren't worthy of something you want out of life.
